What happened to Prudential Taos Real Estate? USA Today reported in late Oct. 2012 that Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway was buying the Prudential real estate network and that the transition to Berkshire Hathaway Home Services would begin in 2013.

Real estate insiders and investors took this as a positive sign that the real estate market was on the mend. The Prudential name associated with real estate will be phased out by 2016. Our local office chose to go with Berkshire Hathaway HS because of BH’s financial stability, its reputation for integrity and quality, and a strong brand that elicits confidence and trust. We were happy when we were invited to join the BHHS organization (many were not) as our Taos office is one of the smallest in the Berkshire Hathaway system. We became Berkshire Hathaway HS Taos Real Estate on Nov. 14, 2014. One of the great things we have available for our clients is the Berkshire Hathaway “app”.
