A heat recovery ventilator assures high air quality and is timed to operate 2 hours each day. All interior wood doors were custom made on site. There is a propane fueled gas fireplace that is see through and can be enjoyed from the den or living room sides of the wall. This is the only nonelectric appliance, depending upon usage, it uses 1 or 2 four gallon tanks per year. While primarily for aesthetic enjoyment it can serve as a heating source during any extended power outage. The open plan KITCHEN features a builtin Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, induction cooktop, oversized stainless steel sink, wall oven, dishwasher. The large island invites guests to join in with meal preparation and has storage on both sides. Hidden from view are the microwave and coffee station inside the cabinets. Counter tops are copper and hardwood, and a pantry closet is just off to the side. The whole house air ventilation system with intake above the range can be used to remove cooking odors if needed. The stereo system will stay with 9 builtin speakers, including 2 subwoofers. The large recessed TV will also remain.
